using magic bands early?

We got a package plan including magic bands. We are planning on going to Disney 2 days early and would like to use the magic bands if possible. Does anyone know if we could do this and how?

Take your resort information to any Guest Relations just outside any theme park and the CM will activate your package tickets for use with your MagicBands.

Guests may do this up to 3 days before their scheduled WDW resort check-in date.
