Family of 2 adults, 2 kids

Hypothetical: At the end of my trip I have 4TS credits left. We go to a signature restaurant and use those credits for the 2 adults and pay out of pocket for the 2 kids i.e. go to Brown Derby instead of Mama Melrose. What would they do?

Has anyone done this?

From what I can gather, you would have 2 adult and 2 child TS credits left at the end of your trip? The Brown Derby would allow you to spend the last 2 adult TS credits on one adult meal, and the last 2 child TS credits on one child meal, then you would have to pay oop for the other adult and the other child.

If some of the credits are children's credits, you cannot use children's credits to purchase an adult meal. All adults and childrens TS credits are separated. Children's credits can only be used to purchase meals from the children's menu.

If you have 4 adult TS credits left, you may go to Brown Derby, use the adult credits for the adults' meals, and pay cash for the children's meals. If the children are age 10 or over, they will have adult credits, so you can do this.

If you have 2 adult and 2 child credits left, you may go to Brown Derby, use the credits for meals for one adult and one child, and pay cash for the other adult and the other child.
