Using EMH before checking in?

Hello All!

We arrive on 9/15 which is an AK EMH park day. Can I use the EMH before checking in?

I ask because we are surprising my mom and DD with a stay at GF CL. They think that we are staying at CBR.

We would need to get up REALLY early to check in and make it to AK by 8 AM.

Any tips??

It did not used to be possible before MDE and Magic Bands.

Unfortunately, I have not seen any reports that you can do so now,
even with the new system.

I don't believe so. You could call and ask, but as Check-in isnt until later, I doubt it.

EMH is a Disney resort perk. If you aren't checked-in to a Disney resort yet, I can't see how you'd be allowed thru the Tapstile to enter the theme park for a.m. EMH. You can register at your resort as early as 6am, and drop off your luggage. They'll text you later with your room #. This way you'll have your dining credits (if any), parking pass, and your tickets will be activated.

I asked a CM and they told me to ask at GF...which didn't answer my question.

Are you staying offsite thr night before? You could get up and go check in by yourself, then meet everyone else at AK. You can check in as early as 6:30 or 7:00 am, but only the lead person on the reservation has to be there.

Yes, we are driving down and staying offsite the night before.

It is what it is... I won't know until the morning of check in if I can get to GF early enough. Thanks for the suggestions.
