I am not a DVC member, but I was looking at renting or buying points for a week vacation. If I did could I use the points for a two bedroom suite at the Comtempory?

You "could" but it would cost you way more points than if you rented a 2 bedroom villa from a DVC resort like BWV, BCV, SSR, VWL or OKW. The two beroom units at a DVC resort will be true condo type accommodations rather than just two rooms. They will have full kitchens and whirlpool tubs, in room laundry facilities, two bathrooms etc. etc. The largest accommodations will be OKW. The others will be slightly smaller, but still a nice large condo type unit.

And you would probably spend more on renting the points than you would spend if you called CRO directly.

I don't believe the suites at the Contemporary are even available for points reservations. The charts list only Garden Standard, Standard and Tower for the Contemporary.

If suites are available (you'd have to call MS and see), I'm know the points would be lots more than they are for a Tower room.

As an exmple, a week in a Tower room would be 335 points (value season, leaset expensive time). A week in the same timeframe would get you a Grand Villa (gorgeous 3 bedroom) at OKW for just a few points (21 to be exact) more than that.

Best wishes -
