I've looked all over and maybe I missed is anyone familiar with using Dreams as their travel agent and still getting the 0% 6month interest using the Disney Visa? We're contemplating paying the whole cruise off now so we can start booking excursions but only if we can get the 0%. However I'm worried since we're using DREAMS as our travel agent it won't qualify. I've been over the fine print a dozen times and it does state through "approved" travel agents but doesn't actually say who is an approved travel agent.

As lanejudy said, you use your Chase VISA to pay, you just do it on the DU web-site. IT's easy-peasy. Been doing it for years. My only complaint is that lately Chase seems to steal a month from me so that my deferral ends up being only five months instead of six. But five is still better than one.

Have you tried to book the day after your statement closes? You might be booking in the middle and getting shorted that way. I try to pay for big charges the day after statement close to get an extra month.

We just booked a cruise, and it shows up as DCL Reservations on our CC statement. We also book/pay through Dreams. We have gotten the 0% financing for past cruises.

You may already know this, but just to clarify to anyone else reading this: you can't book excursions until your booking window (based on your Castaway Club status) opens, even if you have paid in full. If your booking window opens before the PIF date, you do need to make the full payment before your can book activities.

I have always used a travel agent who makes my payments to Disney, and have always received the 6 months no interest deal through Disney Visa for my deposit, full payment, and additional pre-cruise payments for ground transportation and prepaid gratuities, as well as for placeholder reservations booked onboard.

For my upcoming cruise, my final payment was charged to my Disney Visa on May 2. It didn't show up on the bill I received in May, which was due on June 1. My June bill, due July 1, shows that I have no interest on that payment until November 4, which represents 5 remaining payment cycles but 6 months from when I made the purchase.

Thank you all!!! This is our first cruise so learning all the in's and outs.

Actually didn't know I couldn't book excursions until booking window but that makes total sense. For some reason I kept thinking that was only for cabanas and specialty dining and such. It's great that now I have more time.
