Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Arkansas is not my state but I’ve been there a few times and recently drove through on our way back from Ohio. Mind you, I’m grateful that I found several places in AR to stop and safely nap not to mention our 2020 visit to Hot Springs, but there are just so many other A things…

Argyle- it is arguably one of my favorite patterns and style elements. I’ve had a ridiculous number of argyle sweaters, vests, socks and tights over the years. Back in the 90s, I saw a woman with the dream…a large diamond, sapphire and citrine bracelet where the stones were set in an argyle pattern.

Armadillos- I have seen so many of late. I swear, I go into Disney Princess mode when I see them and start talking to them like I have some kind of connection with woodland creatures.

Avocado- They are a regular part of my diet and are a great source of fiber and good fat. Oh, and they’re yummy!

ARKANSAS

Road trip from Palm springs 2003.. sister moving to join SGM marine husband new assignment little rock

Sonic just down the street...took Oregon 12 years to have the establishment

Hot springs had a pottery surround on a fireplace worth $1,000s... being a antique vendor... that was the highlight

library on the Arkansas River.... Only the outside view and the only one I have seen...critics where right. Coast starlight does have a simple platform at Simi Valley.... I guess for the political science students... alas couldn't see that library also

Aunts: the ones I have loved, and I also love being an Aunt
Autistic students were some of my favorites and I learned so much from them.
The old Animation building at MGM. Loved Walter Cronkite and Robin Williams and I always stood in front of those paint jars for longer than the tour allowed!

I would just like to add that although I have never been to Arkansas, I had a lovely friend (RIP) who lived in Arkansas. She would call me often and I loved to hear her beautiful accent.

What brands of orange coffee do you like? Is it available in coffee pods?
I don't really have a favorite brand. It's hard to find, mostly only in specialty shops, so when I DO find it, I grab a bag.

A things...
Airplanes: If it wasn't for an airplane, I'd be stuck in New Orleans! Aw, shucks!!
Artificial joints: Yes, I am that old. As much as I don't love my new knee, I'm glad I was able to have it replaced.
Acadia National Park: I am fortunate that it's only about an 80 minute drive from my house to ANP. Also, I used to work in Bar Harbor and could see Cadillac Mountain outside the lab window. Such a lovely park!

Appreciate God blessing DH with a new job; it came so unexpectedly. HE works in mysterious ways;

Art Festival at WDW... a fave of ours

Adult children for my precious grandkids

Sure is! I haven't found it. Online I see chocolate orange coffee, and I think I saw an orange vanilla coffee, but I haven't seen any just orange coffee without another flavor.
