using DME for first time help

we have our plane trip taken care of and how do I go about getting signed up for DME and how do I get the correct tags to place on cases? We are traveling first of Dec when should I obtain them? Any info would be great we are flying Airtran if that matters

Call DME @ 866-599-0951 and give them your flight number and times. They will send you 2 luggage tags per person about a month before you leave.
