First let me say - I have been trying now to 15 minutes to search the DIS for a possible answer to my question and the server is so busy it can't execute my search. So, I apologize if this has been asked many times before, but I got sick of waiting.
So, my questions isn't just a simple one. I am trying to find a "work around" to take advantage of earning disney reward dollars with my disney visa. Most of my bills have the option of using a credit card when setting up automatic bill payments. Like with my cable and cellphone bills, when I set up automatic bill payments I have the option of checking account, savings account or credit card. I set it up with a credit card and then pay off my disney visa card afterwards. I get reward points and my bills get paid. BTW- I ALWAYS pay of my credit card bill, so my balance is always zero and I am not paying any interest on my bills. That would be dumb. I have a couple of bills where my only option is a checking or savings account, not credit card. I am wondering if anyone has figured a way around this to still take advantage of earning rewards?? I wonder is there a way to tell my bill that it is a checking account, plug in a routing number and then an account number, but the money will actually be taken from the credit card and not a real checking account? I know I can't earn reward points using a "convenience check" or transferring a blance, so that won't work. Any ideas or am I SOL?
