We have about $400 Disney Dollars to use for our trip. Rather than carry them around the parks, I understand you can put them on your room key. Do I just give the room key to the CM for our meals and purchases?

Do the carts that sell popcorn, Mickey bars, etc only take cash? Are they the only places I cannot use the Disney Dollars?

If I give someone a $10 disney dollar, will be get change back on the form of regular dollars and change?

Thanks.

You can use your Dollars just like cash. We carried them on our last trip and used them at the vending carts, to pay for meals at restaurants, purchased gifts at stores.

I wouldn't put in on the room key, cause not everywhere you can charge, especially the vendor carts. Just take what you think you'll need and leave the rest in the safety box in your room. That's what we did.

When you use Disney Dollars, they give you change in regular cash.

Hope that helps.:)

In September almost all vendor carts did accept the room card for payment....8 days we only used $60 in disney dollars......all else on the room card

I always put Disney Dollars on my room key and keep about $50 in my pocket for vendor carts. It's so much easier to just use your room key to pay for almost everything!
