We will be staying at All Star Music Saturday night, then taking Disney transportation to cruise terminal on Sunday. I just received email with our 9:45am meeting time in the lobby. For bags, it notes that Bell Services will be by starting at 7am to collect. Do these bags go on the same bus as us? Do we have an option to just bring the bags ourselves to the bus? As it stands we'd be waking up early to shower and dress and get bags ready by 7am, only to then sit there and wait until our 9:45am meeting time. I don't mind rolling my own bags to the bus if it means a bit of extra sleep. Thanks!

No, the (big) luggage you have is transported via a truck. You may only bring carry on bags on the bus.

Hello,

I know it’s a bit of a hassle, but let them take the luggage. When I used DCL transfers, they picked up my bag at 7 AM, and it was on the ship ahead of me. The silver lining was that our bags were among the first to be delivered to our stateroom.

On the other hand, when we didn’t use DCL transfers and carried our luggage to the port ourselves, it didn’t arrive until later in the evening.

It really slows getting on the bus but others have done it. Plus than you have to hand it over to a porter to bared of just going inside.

They do this all the time , out of 20 cruises my luggage is always there.

They don’t wait they are there to pick up and go in a big truck and straight to the port.

You just get on the bus. Than you don’t have to wait to get them off and have us wait to get off the bus because they have to unload luggage first.

It was my understanding that bags had to be left in front of the door (for the whole night if you wanted to sleep), and that they would collect at 7am. Is this correct?

Asking as I am doing the DCL ship transfer for the first time in April. Thanks!

We were told leave the bags in the room, close to door.

Oh, great to know, thanks! I suppose you had to stay in the room, then? I thought we could use the opportunity to go to breakfast while bags were collected.

If I recall correctly, we didn't stay in the room. Once we were up, showered, dressed, and packed, we locked the bags and headed out to breakfast.

No, you will place the luggages in front of your hotel room door by 7a. You don’t leave it for the entire night.

They are very quick. For example, I placed the bags at 7a and they were gone by 7:05a.

You leave the bags inside your hotel room they start picking up at 7 am ours this morning by the time he got to us it was 7:30.

They called around 6:30 to ask us how many bags we had.

We were up and dressed by so less in carry on just like the last night on the ship…lol

Ok, that’s interesting. I’ve done it three times and they’ve always told us to leave it in the hallway. 🤷‍♀️
I don’t know maybe it depends on resort? We done this 21 times as of this morning …lol

Anyway you get an email the day before so follow what ever they tell you.

We just got on the Treasure!

How far in advance do you receive the email saying what time to leave your bags out? We leave Saturday the 8th and I haven't heard anything. This is my first cruise.
