Using dining plan and cash at same meal?

Trying to plan for the use of our dining plan. One night, we are doing an adults only dinner at a signature restaurant (2 dinner 'tokens'.) That means my sons will have two table service dinners left, but I will not. At a table service restaurant, can I use their dining plan 'token?' and pay just mine in cash? Will this annoy the server? Is it all-or-nothing for the table?

No prblem. We just told the server how many TS credits we wanted to use & what we wanted to pay OP for and none of them ever said anything. The last day we only had 2 TS credits left, so they applied them to our adult dinners and we paid OP for the rest.
