Last night was the first night that I have attempted to get tickets for Hawaii for next summer. I made four calls starting at midnight. The first three calls came up with nothing. A major part of the problem was a communications issue. My calls ended up in another country where English is not the primary language. Bottom line; seats were all gone. On the forth call, I am not sure where I ended up but I managed to get a well spoken, clear and articulate woman who found me two first class seats and one segment for three seats on a three leg segment. I am those reservations. The boys however are booked 5 months earlier and wait listed for segments One and Three to get satisfied on the waitlist. At 12:30 am, she felt that the problem was, that the inventory may not have been loaded but as soon as it was loaded I should be bounced into those seats. Its 8 am and still no confirmation for the seats I really need. My question is, should I start over again tonight and if I get the same situation, should I waitlist for the next day. Is there a strategy that I am missing here? I have had trouble getting FC in the past but persevered. I have never had a problem getting coach and all I need is three. I welcome any and all suggestions.

I would go to www.flyertalk.com Find the Delta forum and post there. Those guys have TONS of experience in this...

(When they first started it, by the time I got the agents I was ALWAYS LIVID and as I told them it's not thier fault their bosses were stupid... wonder how much money DL wasted on that fiasco!)
