Using CS as Snack credits at F&W

Does anyone know if you can use CS credits to get 2 or 3 F&W items? This would be a great way for us to use the extra CS credits were sure to have, as we'll be paying OOP several times for kids meals when they don't want whats on the kids menu.

I was told you cannot use CS credits as snack credits. However, during September you could use TS credits as CS and receive either 2 additional snack credits (in the form of a voucher, and they must be redeemed at the same time) or a pin/lanyard set. Not sure if they're still doing this, it might have been only during free dining.

My son is considered an adult, but under the dining plan, he was permitted to order off the children's menu. They don't mind because we paid for him as an adult. So you won't have to pay out of pocket for your children if they prefer the children's menu sometimes.


edited to add: We were told that under the dining plan, an "adult" can order from the children's menu at a table service restaurant too.

CS meals do not differentiate between child and adult meals, only TS meals do. So if your kids don't want what's on the children's menus at CS meals, that's fine. They can get something off the regular menu and still use the DDP. No need to pay OOP in this case.

That's funny, because I had 1A 2C on my card and ordered 3 adult meals at CS places all the time last month. I was told by a CM that it was fine. On our printout at the hotel, it listed:
Snack
Quick Service
Adult Table Service
Child Table Service



edited to add -- I'm not advocating breaking any rules, as I understand the DDP is constantly a work under construction. Just sharing my experience and understanding of the plan as it was explained to me by the CMs.
