Using Banked and/or Borrowed Points

If I'm calling to make a reservation that will require points that I need to bank and/or borrow, do I need to have that done or can I take care of that on the same phone call once I know dates are available?

Even though I banked mine early I was told I could do it all in the same conversation. I did it early so when I'm ready to call for my reservation all they gotta do is put the res in and not worry about banking first. Wouldn't want to lose the place because it took an extra minute to bank first!

You can bank points when ever you want, but you can only borrow while making a reservation that needs to borrow points.

Either can be processed by the MS Adviser while making the reservation.

every trip I take is always a year "ahead" in my points...at some point it will catch up im sure..just not yet!

Sadly I'm in constant borrowing mode. However, I do notice I am borrowing less....maybe because I bought more points!

i bought more too...oh...and stopped bringing all the "family" for free trips

did anyone else notice that once you bought DVC everyone is bumming up for a free trip or is that just my family?? did that sound bitter? oops

Um, yeah....I'm right there with ya on the borrowing of points. I figure hey, you never know what tomorrow will bring, so I'm going to enjoy today!
