Using app on the bus

anyone less have issues trying to use the app on the bus? I have a strong att signal but the app says it is weak so it ont load details

I have that issue at different spots all over WDW. Stayed at Riverside this past May and lots of places at the resort I couldn't use MDE app at all.

The app hardly worked for me all over WDW. DH and I are on the same plan with ATT and his was fine the whole time.

Fixed it. Daughter said I was old. There is a use cellular setting in the iPhone settings for the app. I didn't have it on. Without it on it is wifi only.

Ah yes, I have set my parents and boss up with this turned off for when they go abroad to avoid unexpected charges. I did want to add though, if you continue to have issues, don't think it's you "being old"! I've had many issues with it all over property as has my boyfriend and we've had all the settings "correct." I think it's just one of those sometimes-hit-or-miss things. Even in MK the app stopped working completely for us several times.

ETA: I also have AT&T, boyfriend has Verizon, both had the same issues leading me to think it was more an app issue than provider issue.
