Using a FD pin last minute?

We have a fd pin that expires 2/15. We're thinking about tAking a last minute trip at the end of February. Has anyone ever booked a trip say 2 weeks before they go? We probably won't know if we're going to be able to go until early February.
I'm assuming I'd book it and pay in full at that moment. I know availability is questionable but we were thinking value for this trip anyway.

We were there the beginning of February and it was not crowded at all. I don't think you will have any problem finding a room or dining reservations.

As long as your within the booking dates for the pin (when you can book and when you can travel) there's not much of a difference. If you're within 45 days balance is due at booking.

It'll just depend on availability at that point. Have fun

I am guessing you will have good luck since it's February. You may have issues getting into like CRT or BOG but I bet since that is a slower time you will have plenty of dining options.
