The old TV in my camper was not digital and the factory had gone into the TV and disconnected the internal speakers and hardwired them to the 4 speakers in my camper. This little unit could not power those speakers and always sounded like crap. Also, there is no need to listen to TV outside the camper. Plus it was a tiny 7 inch screen and I could barely see it.
Soooooo for Christmas I got a 10 1/2 inch Digital fold down television and installed it this weekend. I also got a Wineguard RV antenna for when I go to campgrounds without cable. (The antenna that comes with a T@B is also a piece of crap).
Next weekend I'm installing an AM/FM CD with integrated XM. This unit CAN power the T@B speakers so should sound much better.
Oh for anyone that is curious, the Wineguard antenna can be mounted directly to an RV, but I didn't want to. I used brackets to mount it to a 6 1/2' piece of 3/4" electrical conduit. I got a 2 foot piece of rebar and drive that into the ground, then slip the electrical conduit over the rebar.
I know many of us dont read the DAILY JOKE thread nearly often enough...but I figured some of you could add to this one and make it a Fort Fiends' Philosophy.....
Rog - I spotted that about a month ago, but didn't know how to copy the banner to ask the same question. Is this one of those double standards that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmm?
Not a fan of rats..but I have to say even that was cute!
My cat LOVES my dog. He was basically raised by the dog(we found him abandoned at about 4 weeks) He took to the dog right away, he thinks of him as his mother (or so he's told us.. )
He isn't as nice to us..as he is to the dog. Damn cat.
