Okay, I'm fairly new and am still learning the ins and outs of how these forums work. I'm interested in Fort Wilderness Camping so I usually just read the Camping at Disney World and Camping Community Board threads. I've learned quite a bit about Fort Wilderness on both of these boards and really enjoy reading them.

After reading some of your posts (i.e. above), what is the difference between the two?

I was reading the "heated" thread earlier today and left to run errands and now it seems to have disappeared. Did it get deleted because someone reported it? Is that what happens when the report a post button is pressed? A moderator decides whether to shut it down?

I think you are all a great bunch of people that love to camp and seem to have alot of fun with one another. I'm a bit shy but I'm slowly working my way into joining in on the fun. Thanks

The DIS has a main community board that runs at the speed of a new york minute, it has more than its fair share of trouble makers. The camping board has a good group of regulars so the Camping COmmunity board was created to to keep the main camping board on topic for trip planning.

When a post is reported it generates an email to all moderators of that forum, it also starts a new thread in a private forum that is available to all moderators and webmasters, it is the responsibility of the moderators to take appropiate action in line wiht the community guidelines. In this situation I was on my munch break and my inbox filled with reported posts most by a couple people, I unfortunately did not have time to read the whole thread so I removed it from public view to be addressed later. which will be shortly
