Useless facts/Chit Chat Thread

Analysis calculates that there are possibly 378 million children in the Christian world; at just over 4.1 per household, that's 98.1 million homes. "One presumes that there's at least one good child in each".

Time zones give Santa 31 hours of Christmas to work with, which means 822.6 visits per second. "This is to say that for each Christian household with good children, Santa has 1/1000th of a second to park, hop out of his sleigh, fill the stockings ... [and] get back into
the sleigh."

I've already posted on DVC board...but thought you guys might like to see too! I took this pic through a Disney bus window during the last week of October. We were delayed going to DTD one day and when we finally passed, we saw that the Treehouse Villa parts had been blocking the road! Here is a pic of the deck and you can see a roof right in front of the deck. Here is a link to the thread where others posted the results! :thumbsup2

Silent Night was written in 1818, by an Austrian priest Joseph Mohr. He was told the day before Christmas that the church organ was broken and would not be prepared in time for Christmas Eve. He was saddened by this and could not think of Christmas without music, so he wanted to write a carol that could be sung by choir to guitar music. He sat down and wrote three stanzas. Later that night the people in the little Austrian Church sang "Stille Nacht" for the first time.

Frank! You ROCK! I needed this last week though! I had so much fun playing Santa, but the best part (or at least close) was greeting the Brazilian tour group kids with "Merry Christmas" in Portuguese, "Feliz Natal"! They we blown away! I knew how to say it in all the World Showcase languages, but this list is awesome! Thanks! (have I used enough !'s to express my enthusiasm?! No! here are a few extras ! ! ! ! ! )
