Just wondering.....do all of our emails get printed out and put in a file or something, or does the whole 'team' see all the emails? I wrote an email to one person the other day, with a bunch of thank you's etc in it, and got a response from another person. Will the one I sent it to ever see that email???:confused3

All of the e-mails for the resort go into one "public" inbox. :thumbsup2

I am so excited!!! Just have to wait till Sept 22 to tell my brother and sister they are coming with us!! My DH has put together a pretty cool power point to surprise them. Any other suggestions? They are 14 and 12. Our DS's will have so much fun with them there!!! They are 3 and 1. Thanks for all your help guys!!:santa:

That's what i thought. I'll just keep trying.
E-mail is not a secure way to send your credit card information. If you look at the first page here, you'll see the fax number for the IPO department. You could fax it over if you like.

Hello! I was just wondering if anyone could possibly shed a light on what RPC stands for? It's something to do with the GF Concierge.

Thanks a bunch!!

Royal Palm Club which is the club level housed in the main building.

RPC=Royal Palm Club. Each club level has it's own name and that's the one for the GF's main building.

oh, that is SO cool!!!! If you don't mind me asking, why are you telling them Sept 22? Is it a special family day or something, because if it was a gift-kind-of-day, you could also give them some Disney Dollars or something like that!!

thanks...but I must be being kind of dense or something  , because I still can't figure out it the original person will read it! Once it is read by someone, is it gone from the public inbox? Does each person read each email and just not respond if it looks like someone else already has? :confused3
Thanks for helping a clueless-one! :teeth:

Ok and my next question, is if I stay in the Sugar Loaf Key building, I can only use that buildings lounge correct?

If so, is there any difference between the 2? Food wise? Are you treated better?

Thanks!!

hthrbells: congrats on your ADR's!! One less thing you have to worry about. That is so nice that you're taking your DB and DS. They will have a wonderful time!!

Finally got a hold of Sarah in the IPO today. She took my CC info and let me know that they are still woking on my ADRs.

Sept 22 is my Birthday and my Dad and Step Mom are making me sweat it out!! I understand the kids are in school and it will be my little brothers freshman year and as of right now he is in the top 5 of his class. They are concerned about the work load. I think it realy just boiles down to the fact that our Dad does not want to hear abot Disney every two seconds....not a big Disney guy!!! It means alot for me to bring them because after my Mom passed away we went on a family vacation and my full brother sprinkled some of her ashes on a deep sea fishing trip in Captivia and I got to sprinkle some at Cinderella's castle. They were things my mom wanted to do with us. Needless to say my father has never returned to WDW since and refused when my Step mom took my little brother and sister. Not fair to them but I guess I understand. Even though losing my mom was one of the wost things that has happened to me I would not change a thing. I love my little brother and sister and I would not give them up for anything!! My parents know this is the best birthday present they could ever give me!! Of couse I plan on showing up at 12:01!!!!

well its good to hear I am not the only one having problems with GF IPO staff. We booked our trip in February. Within a few days of booking I sent an email with our ADR's. I got a response that a credit card would be needed to book some of them (CRT and Fantasmic Package) which I was aware of. So after several calls where I would get a voice mail box I finally got a call back and gave them my card information. Our 180 day mark was this past Tuesday. On Monday I received an email with 2 questions, which I responded. I hear nothing on Tuesday and then Wednesday morning I get an email from Calvin that they can't make some of my reservations because I don't have a credit card on file. Needless to say I was quite annoyed. We really wanted CRT for our 1st breakfast. The kids have never been to Disney and we have had to postpone the trip 2x before so I wanted to start with a very special day. I figured my chances were slim of getting that request now. I emailed him back and also called and left a voice mail. No response to my call but I did get an email back from him that someone else was working on my reservations and that they had booked them the day before. The other planner was off that day so he could not give me the reservations but would make sure they were sent the following day. Not sure why he would not have access to this information. Also I seem to notice that most of my email responses are not signed with anyones name.

hthrbells--that is so cool about your trip and being able to tell them on your bday! :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: hugs for losing your mom. I hope your trip is magical!!! :)

I am sorry you are having issues
I will say give calvin another chance
He has been booking my families stuff and has been great!
I have stayed club level at 5 disney resorts so far and many of the IPO have issues. I hope you get these things worked.

So, once all the ADR's, etc are set....is there any contact with IPO before the trip? Do they 'check in' to make sure we're all set, do we email them, do we just GO TO WDW?? :teeth:

In December 2004 which was the last time my family and I made ADR's before we arrived at WDW, we were given a print out of the two scheduled ADR's from the Atrium Club Cast Member who checked us in. So I would assume when you check-in they will give you a print out of all the ADR's you made.

thanks, CRRF4L!

is there anything else to talk to them beforehand, besides ADR's?

Getting soooo excited!!!!!

Your welcome and to answer your other question, I guess you can talk to them about park tickets, special requests you have to make and etc.

Whenever the Contemporary IPO called our house before we arrived they asked if there was anything we needed? We told them that we would like to request a half a grapefruit for my mom, because she always has one with breakfast. For whatever reason it was not in the computer with our reservation when we checked in, so from now on we just make that request in person.
