I'm so excited! DF is treating me to a stay in Jan to celebrate my birthday. We originally booked five nights at POFQ, with DDP, for a total of $1400. I got the AP holder pin-code email that many of you received, and I was sad to see it excluded MLK weekend (which my birthday falls on). We decided to try and apply the 30% pin code for the five nights we booked, AND add a sixth night on Jan 12th.
We've never stayed at AKL before, and we both LOVE AK, so DF suggested we make our added 6th night reservation for there. Weeeeell, I just got off the phone with a SUPER Disney CM to make our changes and I went a bit above and beyond!
Our 5 night POFQ with DDP stay was changed to 1/12-1/15 at AKL Savanna View and 1/15-1/18 at POFQ! The total for our new six night stay with DDP is $1535...not even $100 more than our original total, with an extra night added and half the stay at a Deluxe!!!
Plus we'd already paid the deposit, so we only owe $1335!
The CM was able to give me the 40% off code for the three AKL nights and the 30% off code for the three POFQ nights, even though the last three nights were on MLK weekend. I thought that was a blackout period! I keep checking my email confirmation to make sure I didn't just dream this total up!
Anyway, very excited at how well this worked out for us, this was my first time utilizing a pin code!
