Used an awesome National code for my April trip!

I tried to use this code to book a rental beginning in MCO and ending in TPA for August and now its charging a $250 drop fee.

I have used this code for the same rental twice this year and I have not had a drop fee in the past....

I found a huge price decrease by renting at the WDW car care center rather than the airport. On my economy car it was about a $35 savings.

Hopefully I'll find something much better, but being so far out and during xmas week it's not that bad. Got a full size for 11 days for using the contract code for $650. Like I said, I'll be checking constantly to try and get a better price.

What drop fee? I have 2 Ressies with this code. One for my SIL who may not be coming.

The drop fee is charged frequently when you drop off the car at a location that is different from the one you rented from. The rental company will likely incur costs to transport the vehicle back to it's originating location and they usually add a drop fee for that. Some corporate contracts waive the drop fee. Some don't.

just to be clear, if I rent from MCO and bring it back to MCO this fee does not apply????

Correct! Drop fees only apply when you drop off at a different location than you picked up the vehicle from.

As an update, I used this code just last week to rent a car from the Car Care Center at WDW and had no problems. Matter of fact, it was super-easy as they didn't ask me once if I need insurance or anything since it was included in the price.

Just wondering if anyone has an update on the KLM codes. I am concerned about the number of people who said they received an email showing they owed more money. They've also stated that they were never charged this amount, only the amount on their agreement.

Curious to see if months later, this is still true???

Hoping for no issues, just booked a convertible for $405. I kept getting confused because if I logged into our Emerald Membership it wanted us to pay ahead of time. But if I just did it without being linked to that membership I can pay at the time of rental.

I never received an email stating I owed more money. However, when I go into my Emerald account and look at my rental history it shows that I owe $255 on our March rental with the KLM code. No one has contacted me about the amount due. I have another rental booked for the end of this month with this code.

I never called about this and picked up and returned my rental at the end of July with no issue. I just looked at my account again and the March rental still shows an amount owed and the July rental now also does as well.

I am just going to ignore it. I don't think there is anything to be concerned with on this code. It is a legitimate code on the Air France site.

I didn't try that code, used the KLM code and the visa upgrade. I have a midsize for Nov 10-16 for $197.00. It was better then the $225.00 I had a few months ago.
