Used an awesome National code for my April trip!

We used it a couple of weeks ago (returned it on Nov 17). They charged the amount they were supposed to and yes, there's an amount owing showing on the receipt like everybody else has said. I'm just going to contact them to wipe it off my record.

You're best off waiting for a coupon that you don't need the paper on, that way you can go right to the aisle.
depending on your dates in April, there should be a $30 off a minimum 5 day rental that you can find on Mousesavers.com...the one covering your dates will probably be there either March 10th or April 10 (or so....).
I'm waiting for a coupon for Feb 16...right now the coupon is good until the 9th..so I assume there will be a new one posting around the 10th...

No one has posted about this in over a month. We leave in nine days and I don't want to run into any issues!

There won't be any issues.
I still have a balance of $209 showing from a rental I did last April! I never questioned them. They never contacted me for any kind of payment. I have perfect credit, I monitor my credit reports and this has never shown up on it.

I just booked using the KLM code. I booked a minivan for 3 days, 27-2/10, but I can't get it to take any of the codes to bring it down. The Entertainment book $25 off should work as well as a couple others. Any suggestions???

Whoops-So I just realized this is a BJ's coupon (not a member) and already made my reservation-...If my rate says 'Coupon Applies' are they going to need a physical coupon & proof of membership?

Sorry DVC Daisy! Looked at my reservation & it say's BJ's Travel. Since the coupon showed on National's site I didn't bother researching the code figuring it was their own. Lesson learned!! Hopefully another coupon will come out soon and we can just replace it.

Sorry DVC Daisy! Looked at my reservation & it say's BJ's Travel. Since the coupon showed on National's site I didn't bother researching the code figuring it was their own. Lesson learned!! Hopefully another coupon will come out soon and we can just replace it.

That is what I am hoping as well

Plus, that the rates drop. They are still way too expensive - I usually end up with a bargain

I can't get the KLM code to work...it doesn't bring the price down at all. It's still like $800+ for a mini van from March 24 - April 5 through National

It may have something to do with it being Easter week. I have a great rate for a midsize 3/22-3/30 ($252) with the KLM code. I have been checking every so often to see if it drops and yesterday it went up to $480. So, I am assuming it might be because of Easter.

I reserved a car using the KLM code back in November for the beginning of March, with the BJ's car upgrade coupon.
Tried it again today, and the price is now double what it was on my original ressie. It's even a little more than if I don't use the code at all. (except it includes the insurance).
Hopefully, it will come down again sometime in Feb. I really don't want to stop at the counter just to show them a coupon.
