Great way to do it. Keeping the names on deed the same and keeping the same UY, will keep it in the same membership. Have fun on your path to joining DVC!

I personally wouldn’t consider a December UY if December was one of my primary travel months. A Dec UY works well for June/Dec booking and banking windows, but December is such a popular month with way too many people starting their Dec reservation walk before December 1st. I’d be too stressed about being locked out of my own home resort at the 11th month window. I’d try to stick to a June UY if possible.
