Use Disney Vacation Account for Costco Travel Initial Deposit?

Does anyone know if DVA can be used to pay for the initial deposit if the booking is made through Costco?
Also, if you already paid your deposit to Costco, is it possible to get a refund then pay with the DVA?

As to the former, if you have to put your deposit down when you initially book with Costco, no, that won't work. If Costco works like other TAs and you put a "hold" down on a reservation, then yes, you should be able to call 800-511-9333 and use your DVA to pay for the deposit on the reservation. I did this with another TA (not Costco).

Your last question, is I suppose you can. Just cancel (assuming this wasn't a discounted *GT booking or you aren't past your PIF date) then you should be able to get a full refund and start completely over with a new booking.
