Use Dining Credits for CRT?

I know this is mulled over a million times.... We have free dining (regular dining plan). With our reservations, our choice is to pay OOP for CRT (~$400 for our family of 5) and use 2 credits at Coral Reef and Via Napoli or use the 2 credits at CRT and pay OOP at the other 2... We're leaning toward using the DDP at CRT, especially since our 11 year old is a very light eater and can order off the kids menu at the 2 non buffet meals... Logic correct? We're only a few $ away from it making sense to upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan, but I don't want to be that locked in... Thank you!

It doesn't have to be all or nothing. You can use credits for some at CRT and pay OOP for some at CRT and try to save a few credits for Coral Reef. Via Napoli is a great place to pay OOP if you plan to share a larger pizza and some apps and desserts.

You definitely want to use DDP for any true Disney kids at CRT as the cost for their meal exceed their daily cost for the plan. I would be inclined to pay one adult at CRT OOP and use those two credits for two adults at Coral Reef so you can have two desserts to share and someone gets alcohol.
