Use DDP credit or pay out OOP for Boathouse

Looking at dining at The Boathouse, and trying to figure out if we should use the 2x dining credits or just pay. The menu is a little confusing as to what entrees are included, and which ones will have an extra charge.
We mostly avoid the Signature meals on the plan, but thinking paying for one (maybe Hoop-De-Doo), and using the 2x credit at one of the signatures. Maybe going to Paddlefish or Flying Fish, if The Boathouse isn't that friendly on the DDP.

WDW Prep School has a list of all signature dining broken down to show you which one gives you the most bang for your buck when using the Dining Plan. Narcoossee's and Yachtmans are some of the most friendly, but I don't remember Boathouse.
