Use AAA agent or wait for PIN?

Hi,

I have a package reservation for 4 at AoA in a LK suite for August 2014. I got a quote from AAA that $150 cheaper than the Disney website because it was a AAA room rate. I called Disney and asked if I could apply the AAA rate but was told that they could only do that if it was a room-only reservation.

I made the res with Disney, because I'm nervous about going through AAA. Can I still use My Disney Experience and make my dining reservations online? Is some discount likely to come along that will be just as good, or should I cancel the current reservation and use my AAA agent?

Thank you!

Heather

Whether you book through AAA or Disney is up to you. With both, you can use My Disney Experience, and you can make your dining reservations on line. If you choose to switch your reservation to AAA to get their room discount and a better Disney promo comes out, you can just have your agent apply the new discount. It will replace the discount that you would already have through them. It's hard to say if a better discount will come about and if one does, it may or may not apply to suites at AoA. Disney has been restricting their discounts where that resort is concerned. Personally, I go through AAA because on occasion we prefer to drive to a park rather than use Disney transportation and you get to park in AAA parking spots pending availability.

Thank you! That is helpful. I definitely won't have a car, but as long as I can still make my own res's and use FP+ (assuming it will be ready) then I may as well go for the discount.

I always use AAA to book. If something better comes along you can use that discount instead of the AAA one. And yes, you can make dining reservations online.
