USB cable question

Okay, all of you photography experts, I have a silly question for you. I have an old HP Photosmart digital camera, and will be purchasing a new digital camera soon (likely a Panasonic). Anyhow, will the USB cable that I have from the HP be compatible with the Panasonic? Thanks!

It depends on the size of the socket, but it likely will. This is probably not an issue though. Almost all cameras come with their own. I will also suggest a card reader. There is no reason to waste your camera's batteries transferring files.

Your new camera should come with a usb cable. And I don't think an HP cable will fit a Panasonic camera. I have an Olympus C5060wz and when I bought my E-500 the cable did not fit each other.
