Usage of DVC perks

well, free parking is not a dvc perk. Only annual passholders or guests staying at a disney resort (dvc or not) get this.
I believe Dining/merchandisc discounts can be used by dvc members at anytime.

The only perks that require a resort stay are free parking for non-ap holders and extra magic hours. Both of these are available to all Disney Resort Guests.

For any available dining and merchandise discounts, you only need to show your blue membership card. You also need your membership card to get member pricing on APs.

Lol Thanks, yeah I was getting my various perks mixed up. We have both DVC and annual passes so I guess I'm covered with DVC food discounts and AP free parking even if we visit for just a day trip.

I can never remember which perks are DVC and which are AP either! When we are at WDW we just ask if they have AP or DVC discount when checking out at a store or ordering a meal at a restaurant.

Pool Hopping requires a points stay at a DVC resort.

Top of the World Lounge access is only for a points or member cash stay at BLT.

Pool hopping is Not allowed at :
Stormalong Bay at YC/BC or at BC Villas pool
all pools at AK Resort & AK Villas
Bay Lake Tower's pool at Contemporary

Members staying on points can hop to any other pools on property except during blocked out dates or if lifeguards/resort CMs determine a pool to be at capacity.
