USA Halloween

Hiya

Ive just some questions for anybody who has been to florida the back end of september, mainly to do with halloween

if thats ok?

I am just wondering if halloween items will be on sale in the shops? what date they start as I am very into halloween and want some new items for the house and garden.

Also wheres good to gety halloween things from?

Also when do the halloween partys start?

thanx to any one who can help, I am just working spending money out and it would be a great help to know if I can buy the things I would like

Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party at MK start very early October if not the last day of September. Alot of places in early Oct 2004 had loads of Halloween stuff as well as the Disney parks

I am there the 14th september to the 28th september, so was hoping they would be selling halloween items in the malls by then?

we were there in mid-september this year and there was tons of halloween merchandise everywhere - in WDW stores and in all the regular stores like walmart and target (candy/costumes/decorations/etc.)....

I was there in mid September one year Anna (long long ago though ) and I am sure I recall halloween merchandise in places like WalMart etc.

I would almost be inclined to ask this question on the US community board as someone there will know for sure when Halloween goods get into stores in the USA.

according to the touring plans website, MNSSHP runs on the following days, 1,5,6,10,12,15,19,20,22,24,26,27, and 29th October. Halloween is down for the 31/10. Not sure if there is a MNSSHP on that night or not.

Hi Mushumadness,

We usually go September - returned 9th October in 2004. I got a ceramic pumpkin bowl with mickey, goofy hanging on the side of it, and ceramic pumpkin candle holders - both with ears on the side. Got them in the Disney Villians shop tagged on to the end of the cauldron shop in MGM. Im sure World of Disney had stuff to.

I cant wait to go, especially as by then the halloween things should be around, sounds mad but I need decorations for my arents home where I live now and also decorations to put away for when I get my house!! cant wait

the USA isn't exactly a monolith, but as an example this year some halloween merchandise was already in stores in the Detroit area in August (!!)...

but as i already responded to the OP, we were in WDW in September this year (we arrived on September 9th and left on the 18th) and all the Halloween merchandise was already out.....in WDW, regular merchandise had already been moved out of the way for the Halloween stuff...and in regular stores (like target/kmart/etc) everything was also already on display...
