Looking for some positive feedback on this airline. I'll take the negative too. I would like to book our October flights through them ($470 rt CLE to MCO for 3 people) because of the deal I found, but I'm always leary of something new.

We just got back, last night, flying on USA3000.

We had no complaints and would fly with them again.

This past winter they went through some restructuring. Some people had problems with cancelled flights and what not. My sis is a flight attendant for them out of Cleveland. If you have any questions PM me and I will pass then on to my sis for answers. If you haven't booked yet the code SAVE my save you a couple of bucks. I know the code was valid this winter so it is worth a shot.

For Dopey Sharon-- (anywhere else that name would be an insult!!)

Can you tell me a little more about your check -in process, seating arrangements, did you have any kids with you, did you have an unexpected stop anywhere? Was the flight pretty full? How far out did you book?
I am about to go ahead and book this flight and still need some last minute reassurance.

Thanks !

Normally out of Cleveland it is a direct flight the way there. The plane usually starts in Pittsburg. Coming home I am not too sure.

We used them for the first time this past December. They cancelled one leg of our trip 2 weeks before we were to leave (not enough passengers). That being said, I probably would not use them again. I'll stick with Southwest.

I flew them from Chicago to St. Pete the end of January and had a bad and then a worst experience. Flight delayed on the way down but at least they called my office and left a message so I did not head out to the airport. On way back, flight delayed, really, really delayed. Did not leave until two hours after I should have arrived. And it appeared that this was very common occurrence for this route. The airport staff were nice but definitely stressed by how they were forced to cope with the disgruntled passengers. One of the counter people was telling me how difficult her job was because the airline delayed and cancelled so often and did not give them accurate information to relay to waiting passengers.

We flew them last Christmas. I have to admit I was a little nervous because of all the negative posts, but our round trip flight went off without any problems. We were actually 20 minutes early getting into Orlando and didn't have to wait for a gate. I would fly them again, unfortunately it looks like they cancelled all PHL-MCO routes after April 28th.

USA300 is a Charter Airline.

That means that if they cancel a flight all they have to do is get you there on the same day or give you a refund. They don't have any interline agreements with other airlines so if the plane breaks you may be out of luck. Most of these charter airlines have very limited numbers of planes (I have no idea how may USA has, it could be 1 or 100)

They can also change your routing and really don't owe you anything if they do. So for example if they decide to they can fly from Cleveland to Nashville and pick up more passengers on the way to Orlando...

Our check-in process went smoothly both legs. Unfortunately, you cannot check-in online. We had to check-in at the airport, but there wasn't a line at either airport.

I called, after I booked our flights, to get our seating assignments.

We did not have any kids with us.

We didn't have any unexpected stops along the way. We had non-stop flights both ways.

We left Philadelphia about 15 minutes early and got into Orlando about two hours later. Coming home, we left 10 minutes late, but still got home early, again, about two hours later.

Both flights were full.

I booked in September.

Like I said, I wouldn't hesitate to fly with them again, but from what johnnyr posted, it doesn't look like I will be.

I flew with them once before from Philadelphia to Ft. Myers. At that time, we got a meal and a movie. Since then, they stopped both. We did get to watch a Cheers rerun on the way home, along with some commercials for Apple Vacations, and a cartoon. I can't remember what they showed on the trip down. They give you the headphones for nothing.

I have friends who fly into Ft. Myers often, and they usually fly with USA3000 without any problems.

Good luck!
