Has anyone heard of usa 3000 airlines? I'm looking into flights thru AAA, and that airline came up as the cheapest, but I have never heard of them before. Any info?

I flew them a few years ago to Acapulco. The flight was fine; no assigned seats and we were on or close to schedule from what I remember. I *believe* they started as a charter airline and now operate only to/from popular vacation destination. A few months back they were advertising on billboards all over the Philadelphia area. I doubt they have an extensive flight schedule.

I just flew with them on 6/16 to cancun and everything was fine. The only thing I didn't like was the fact you couldn't reserve your seats in advance.

I flew them a couple of years ago. Everything was fine. The seats were nice and big.

honestly? one of the best airlines i have flown. I have flown on them twice (to the dominican republic and Cancun) and have never had any delays or problems. Yes, the lack of assigned seats is a pain, but they made sure to assign DH and I seats next to each other at check in. The flights aren't usually too full, so getting seats next to each other should not be a problem.

USA3000 is owned by Apple Vacations, a large tour packager based in Philadelphia. They recently cut most flights to Florida and have been focusing on Apple's Caribbean destinations.

DW and DD flew them last year to St. Pete, they thought it was great. They flew out 90 minutes delayed the same day that Jetblue stranded people on their planes for HOURS.

We flew with them this past Easter break and have flown with them many times (from Cleveland to Orlando, St. Pete and Ft. Myers.) All of our experiences with them have been great. We were able to pick our seats this past trip for $5 on each lef of the trip. It's now up to $10/leg, and they only fly from here to Ft. Myers now.:guilty: We'll really miss their service!
