US woman shops with fake $1m bill!

I've heard about this "rocket scientist." I've included a picture of her and the fake 1,000,000 dollar bill:

Alice Regina Pike, in this undated Newton County Sheriff's Department photo, who tried to use a fake $1 million bill to buy $1,675 worth of merchandise Friday, March 5, 2004, at Wal-Mart was arrested and police later found two more of the bills in her purse in Covington, Ga. The U.S. Treasury does not make $1 million bills, but similar-looking currency is sold in some souvenir shops. The fake bill featured a picture of the Statue of Liberty, police said.

LOL...how many people with a million dollar bill go to Wal-Mart?
Did she actually think they'd have change?

Gee!!! Wonder why anyone would be suspicious of her. She certainly looks like a millionaire.

I have one of these in my office and someone came in asking "was it you who tried to pass that off at Walmart?"
I didn't know about it until then.

Jeff told me about this yesterday...

Yup! This woman not only does not have all her dogs barking, but some of them have been send to the pound!

Uh....huh. I didn't even know they made *fake* $1m bills. LOL!

I just read about this, what would posess someone to think that they could pass off that large of a bill?? I wonder if she knew there was no such demomination? Considering what you have to go through to use a $100 bill what made her think a $1 Million bill would not cause someone to take notice.
And did she expect her change of $998,325.00???

Did that lady think she could get change for that? How stupid.
Maybe she should have used one of the other 1 Million Dollar bills to get a makeover.
Sheesh.

I'm pretty sure that somebody that stupid would have no clue that there is no such denomination.

She has officially won "The Dumbest Criminal of the Year Award". What a brainiack!

Had she headed over to Neimans, she probably wouldn't have gotten any change back.

She should have at least tried Dillards, Fields or Neiman Marcus, not Walmart. :p

That's what I thought! She doesn't look like a high-brow Atlanta shopper to me though. Maybe she was hoping a Wal-Mart clerk might be easier to dupe.

I know this has nothing to do with the case, but she looks like Adrian Zmed in drag.....from his Grease 2 days. She needs to get those eyebrows waxed.

Seems like a joke gone bad to me. Even if you did not realize there were no such denomination, wouldn't you wonder where your husband got $3,000,000 from?

The funny part to me was the "My husband gave it to me".... and you didn't think anything of it when your husband handed you 4, 1 million dollar bills? ..and of all the places -- walmart would not be the first place i would go if I just received $1 million!!!

I think the funniest is that she wanted change from her $1 million dollar bill.
