Just to add my agreement to the posts above. Don't miss US/IoA. We would prefer to do less Disney and more Universal if we had to choose.

Sacrilege I know on this site, but there you go..

Plenty for youngsters to do, and great characters to meet - Spiderman and the Marvel Superheroes, Scooby Doo and Shaggy in the Mystery Machine, to mention a few. Totally agree about Sinbad too - the characters are great fun to meet after the show as well, and don't miss the magic fountain talking to amazed kids as they approach it!

Yes you can, we got one at Xmas for Mother In Law. They had an offer on for AP's holders we could buy them at half price for friends and relatives, I think it cost us $36 so full price would be around $72.
We have all been numerous times so we picked out what we wanted to do in 1 day but I can't imagine doing both parks on a first visit.
There are all sorts of offers on like 3 days for £56 and child free so 2 adults and 1 child for 3 days would be £112 probably be a similar price to buying 1 day 2 park tickets.
Sorry cant help with transport as we would not do Orlando without a car.

Edit just seen for an extra £10 (£66) there is a 5 day ticket which also includes Wet n Wild so that would be £132 for 3 of you for 5 days. Others sites may be cheaper this was first price I found

DS was 9 last time we went and loved IOA and US. Next time (August) we are planning on spending one night at RPR to get front of line access.

I'll echo what others think

GO! GO! GO!

They are both great parks.

I think you will regret it if you go all the way to Orlando, and not bother going (much like we do about not going to Busch Gardens...) A trip to Florida and not going to US/IOA is unthinkable for our family.

Thanks guys. We proberley will do it Wayneg pointed out a good offer for 3 days, but we did'nt really want to take that much time out of Disney. We may do too but then there's the extra travelling. How does 1.5 seaworld & 1.5 US/IOA sound. I'm thinking of getting no 50 bus to Seaworld & taxi to US?IOA.
