I live in Colorado. It is nearly impossible to find fares going ANYWHERE for under 275.00. I am going to the world in April. I have my fare watcher going, and today I got an e-mail for a fare from Denver to Orlando for 148.00 RT!!!!! So I went to their web site, and they are offering it for 138.00 RT!!!! I want to buy it now, but know nothing about the airline. I hardly hear anything
about it.

Has anybody flown with them? How are they? Does ir matter with a price like 138.00?! I would love any of your help, thanks.

We fly USairways all the time. They are big on the east coast. I would take the $138 fare.

thank you. All we know in Denver is United, it dominates, so we never get a chance to know other airlines. Do you think it is too early to book for April? I don't think I will ever see this price ever again.

I would run with that fare so fast taht my feet wouldn't leave marks in the sand!!!!

I'm a very frequent flier with US, and wouldn't get on Untied if it meant flying them or walking.

ducklite,

You are so funny! That is exactly what my husband said when I called him to tell him about the fare. He said who cares what airline it is as long as it is not United. He said he would rather fly on a bus with wings taped on than get on United.

I called right away and got the fare!!! 157.50 with all taxes and charges. 787.50 for all five of us!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I can't believe this! I kept making sure she would tell me everything about the tickets, are there any catches? She was laughing at me. I just felt there would be some HUGE catch for that price. I am so excited!

Now if I can get a great AP rate for the Poly and WL I will be set....:p

I have flown United many times and never had a problem. When pricing out plane tickets for our December trip I came up with a rate of $100 per person less then other air lines.

Are you sure you are actually flying on USAirways? They codeshare with United and chances are your flights are actually United. If they start with a 6 (6536, 6550), they are actually United. I checked USAirways website and their 2 daily Denver-Orlando non-stops are United. When you hit the gates & times, they will tell you to check-in at United. They do have some USAirways flights connecting in Pittsburgh, Charlotte or Philadelphia to Orlando.

Be careful....we booked through United but are being placed on a US Air flight....I guess they share passengers.

I did see that on their web site, so when I was on the phone, I asked her about it. She said they are partners, but that I am on US Airways. I have a 1 hr layover in NC.

I noticed that on the fare rules on their site it says under special discounts that anyone under 2 is 50% off. But I asked about it on the phone and she says it wasn't showing up for her. I do have a daughter that will be 22 months when we go. Should I call and ask again, or should I leave well enough alone?

I am preferred with US Airways. There employees are wonderful and are very helpful. I try to go out of my way to fly them. Great fare!

If you are connecting in Charlotte NC then you will be on USAirways planes. I always fly them because they dominate the Pittsburgh market and have never had problems.

Like safetymom, I am also preferred on US Airways and go out of my way to fly them, with United as my airline of second choice. (I keep wondering, safetymom, how many of the same flights we've been on!!). If you have status with United, it will carry over to US and vice versa. It's a nice perk.

That rate is SUPER and I am glad you locked onto it. I actually got a $91 roundtrip, mid-week BOS-PHL fare today. Not sure what's going on, but I am not complaining.

We used them twice flying from Europe to the USA and back and were always satisfied. Go for it.
Greetings to Denver!! It's a great city, my company is based there and I had the pleasure of working there for some weeks this summer. Needless to say, that I loved it :D

We have always flown USAir and never had a problem. They share with United, so my guess is you will be on United from Colorado and switch to USAir in NC. You got a great rate! I would be thrilled!

Like others have said USAirways and United code share. So most likely you will be on United when you leave Denver and continue on USAirways since they dominate Charlotte. I live in Charlotte and I can tell you they have the bulk of runways at the airport so needless to say I don't think I fly anything else but USAirways. That was a great price. I never heard of kids under 2 being 50% off but I thought under 2 was free if they were on your lap. Of course that's if you can take it.

That is a super rate! USAirways is dominant here in Philly and we've flown them to Orlando 90% of the time. We paid $158.00 for fares last June, so your fare is really excellent.

Thanks everbody, I am VERY excited to have gotten that rate. Like I said United here never has anything under 250-275.00 going out of Denver. After I booked that 138.00 flight, I went to United and to fly the same time they were showing fares for 286.00 RT. This makes me even more excited to go to WDW!! I was a little upset that the flight and hotel was going to be so expensive. Now I feel better. Hopefully I wont get United to NC. I asked and she said US Airways will be what we fly. I personally don't have anything against United, except that they are NEVER on time in Denver. One time we waited for our flight for 4 1/2 hours with our 4 month old baby. They kept saying it was delayed for 20 minutes, then 1/2 hour, so we never could leave. That was a little frustrating. But my husband refuses to fly them. Oh well. We will deal with, or I should say HE will deal with it. Thank guys!

I have flown US Air 2 times and had good experiences each time. The attendants were very nice and the flights were smooth. I think I will go to their website right now and check rates for our upcoming Disney trip!!!!!! Great rate, snatch it up!!!!

wdwmom2,

When you go to their web site, I had to use the link on their home page that says Florida great deals or something like that. If I just put in that I was looking for a flight from Denver to Orlando, I got a completely different rate. Hope you get something great too. Good Luck!
