Using US Airways and DME for the first time in October. I arrive at MCO about 8 am. Anyone have any info on how crowded DME might be then? How about US Airways service to and from MCO...any bad or great experiences to share?

We had no issues in June. We took a voluntary bump from our 6:30 a.m. flight from Philadelphia. We were on the 8:00 a.m. flight and got to MCO at about 9:30 a.m. Our luggage made it before we did and since we were using DME, it got to the resort before we did!

The DME folks are easy to locate - they were wearing Mickey Mouse gloves! - :earsboy: and we were on the bus in no time. Very easy. The bus was full, but everyone had a seat. Make sure you have your photo i.d. handy (which, of course, you will for the plane) because they did ask for it. No problems.

USAirways staff is very friendly in Orlando; somewhat less so in Philadelphia (labor issues continue to percolate, I guess). :confused3
And it may take you a little time to get your luggage back in Philly. It was a brief wait for us this time, but took us over an hour in February.
