Just goes to show you that Disney fanatics have soaked in so much Disney magic, that they spread it to others when needed! I have ordered baskets from Shirley for all 3 of our cruises and loved talking with her and planning the baskets. I know that word of mouth is the best advertising available and with the magic and safety net that Shirley and Norm spread the word of mouth spread for the Perfect Gift is only that they are the best! I will continue to order and spread the word on how great the Perfect Gift is due to the kindness of their owner! I will also check out DU if i need a TA in the future for our cruises. What goes around, comes around. Ya'll have my support always!

I spoke to Scot a little while ago because I listened to the video that he posted and I really was so torn up with tears, that I had to call him and just say thanks for the kindness he showed to everyone.
Its been a very long time since I have been this emotional over a "problem" - I remember my first test and it was a little girl named April who was 6 years old and suffering from a life threating illness - all she wanted was to go see Mickey and his boat - her parents needed help to get her on the ship and everything was in such a hustle and bustle and more important we had to get April, on a short notice, on the Wonder - she couldn't wait she was so excited - Sunday morning I received a phone call telling me that April had passed sometime during the morning - I was beyond words - anyhow to make a long story short - Disney stopped by the shop and gave me a Captain Mickey plush along with a photograph signed by all the characters for me to take down to the funeral home.
(No I didn't do the flowers - I was just going to pay my respect) I did take an arrangement down and placed Captain Mickey and the picture with April - One of the hardest trips I had ever made - anyhow with Steph and her DD had such a happy ending, I don't want to hear anything negative as to who did what etc - There are happy tears and there are sad tears - I am so glad and so thankful this worked out like it did.
Thanks for hearing me out - gosh I haven't been this emotional in awhile - guess I had it coming )

I don't know how you did it but you just made this big bad cop shed a little . That story about the little girl even though it was just a couple sentences really shows how there is good in this world even though all we ever see is the bad.

When I wrote about April, it was simply because it happened on the 7th of Sept in 2003 and maybe this is why helping to make things happen for Steph and her daughter was so important although the reasons were totally different, but both were just as important in my thoughts.

My dad was a cop in Key West for many years, but his beat was simple simply because there was never any serious problems at that time and besides that Key West was a 2 by 4 island and to make it worse everyone knew everyone so you couldn't get away with much - now God bless you as you leave for work or coming home. My deepest respect and honor goes to all of those that are always in danger here and away from home.
I always included folks as yourself in my prayers to keep each of you safe.
Blessings always and most of all THANK YOU FOR TAKING YOUR LIFE INTO YOUR OWN HAND for keeping all of us safe.

About 15 bucks and shipping, Rick Steves section on amazon = money pouch or belt...hubby got a pouch that hangs from his neck under his shirt (same material as the belt), b/c the belt wouldn't have worked for him. (or just order from RickSteves dot com at his Travel Store)
