Urgent Advice Needed - Going tomorrow.

My Dad was due to travel with us tomorrow but has been taken ill and now won't be able to go.

He wants us to carry on as normal, but I need a bit of advice. Since the customer service lines are closed, I was hoping you will be able to help!

One of the hotels is booked under Dad's name. Is this going to cause us an issue when checking in?

I am absolutely devastated right now, but trying to keep a positive outlook for Olivia's sake.

Is your mum still going or not with you as if she is I don't see it being a pb with the hotel reservation.

You could contact the hotel directly. The number should be on the hotel sticky

The reservation line in France is 24h so you could always call them as well to set your mind at rest

If there is anything I can do just let me know as I don't mind calling for you locally

Thank you, my Mum is still going but was just worried as the hotel was in his name not hers. I will ring them in the morning, not really feeling up to ringing right now.

Our hotel was booked in my name but dave checked in and signed everything! So like carrie_cat said if your mum is goin it shouldn't be a problem!

I hope your dad is ok reading your pre trippie he sounds like a tough cookie!

Helen, I am devastated to read this. I was really hoping that he would improve enough to go . What a shame for you and your family as I could read how much this trip meant to you all .

Hopefully your mind has been put at rest re the hotel room. I couldn't answer your question as invariably when I do I get the answer wrong! But Carrie's suggestion of calling the French number tomorrow morning, or even later tonight if you feel up to it, might help.

Once again, I am so sorry and sad to hear your Dad won't make the trip, I am pleased that your Mum is still able to go. I hope Olivia has a nice time despite all this though - bless her! .
