UPH & Resort switching

I have an AP, however I was thinking of upgrading my kids 5 day hoppers to UPH passes- the thing is, we are switching resorts during our stay. CBR for 3 nights, YC for 7.

Does anyone know if you can purchas UPH's for the entire time when you check into the first hotel, or will I be required to purchase them first at CBR and then again at YC when we switch?

Or would it be better (cost effective and convenience being the criteria) to just upgrade them to ap's also?


Any advice would be so appreciated!

Sorry to say, but no. We had this same situation last year and we'll have a shorter version of it again this year!
Last April we stayed CBR for 3 nights and then moved to the BWV's for 4 nites...I had to buy separte Ultimate Hoppers(Length of Stay Passes) at each resort, but I had them drop the last day at the front desk of the resort upon check-in. So we ended up getting a 2nt/3day at CBR and a 3nt/4day at BW.
The only reason we get these passes is because the kids (teens) want the freedom of going to Disney Quest & the water parks. I also had an annual pass. (I went twice last year)
But you can't order the Ultimates in advance, because they(CRO) want all in your party to get UMP's and I didn't need one, so you have to wait till we get there, so no advance discounts.
Plus this time of year, we'll probably go to the water parks alot! We are staying at the Poly for one night this trip (after the Hard Rock at Universal for our 1st 2nights) and we are not going to the parks that day, so, we'll get our passes upon check in bright and early into the Boardwalk and hit the parks then.
I've considered the 5day hopper plus, but it doesn't give me DQ and the kids really like that place.
