UPH/AP questions

I am trying to decide if we should buy an AP. Here is the deal... we are a family of 5. 4 of us are going on the Dream Maker kids free package because it is clearly the better deal (even discounted AP rooms don't save as much as the kids UPH passes). That leaves us with one 17 year old in need of a bed and a pass. We are also booking a second room (thank goodness for Value resorts!). But I can not figure out how to work this. This Visa deal is kids stay free/play free with paid Adult... Disney needs an Adult regerstered in each room (even adjoining rooms). If one person in a room has UPH everyone on the reservation needs to also (right?). So how (or is it impossible) do I book the Dream Maker for the four of us and the second room as a room only??? Can I be in two rooms at one time, maybe??? Also I would much rather have the AP in my name and my 17 year old as the second "adult" in the Dream Maker package, but he is considered a Jr by Disney (although the price is the same...) so is this just not possible? If not it is only a minor point... but I would rather this because I am 100% sure DS will want to spend quality time at DQ and it is extra on the AP, where as I could just go one time and be happy with that (so the AP would work better for me than him) I might just get the 5th UPH and make things simple, but the AP discounts on lunch would be nice, and there could be a better rate for the second room with an AP.... Someone must be able to figure this one out for me.

Wow this is long.... Oh, we are going for 7 nights (actually 5 more off site, but that is another story).

Have your DH sign up for a room and you sign up for the other.\
You son cannot book a room as he is not 18. Find discount tickets on www.ticketmania.com for DQ.
