UPH and discounts?

I have a dilema. Are there discounts on the UPH tickets? We have the DC card, but I wasn't sure how to read some of the information in the packet we were sent at the beginning of the year.

From what I understand, there is no DC discount on UMPs unless you purchase them as a part of a package.

If you puchase the UMPs at check in - there is no discount there.

Uh-oh.... I'm sorry but you are wrong, Beth.

There most certainly is a DC discount on UPH's but they must be ordered in advance (407-WDISNEY or the DC 800 number). See the ticket chart on Deb's web site for the prices.

thanks for the link! That is what I was looking for on her site, but I guess I hadn't dug deep enough. Now, to figure out it if is worth it or not. Thank you both for your help!

Sometimes the DC discount is NOT the best economic value. Since it is only available by purchasing in advance (as part of a room/ticket combo), you must puchase UPH passes for the entire length of your stay. When you purchase through CRO/WDWTC, you cannot drop the day of arrival or the day of departure. Dropping one or both of those days is only an option when you purchase the UPH passes at the resort. (Some CMs allow you to drop either the arrival day or the depature day, but not both, and there have been reports that some CMs will allow you to drop both.

In summary, if you will be arriving at your on site resort late in the day or departing early in the day, do the math! The advance purchase Disney Club discount may NOT be your best option.
