When booking an IGT/OGT/VGT with restrictions, are you able to upgrade at the port if there is availability? TIA

Yes, with one caveat: you need to upgrade to a different xGT category. If you have been assigned a 5E with a VGT booking, you cannot upgrade to 4D, you can upgrade only to Concierge.

Interesting! Thanks. Any idea of price increases? Looking to book IGT on a cruise that seems to have quite a bit of availability. And is it a pp cost or per stateroom? 9 cruises and I have never upgraded at port!

You can upgrade at the port. We upgraded our 6A in room 5142 (whitewall verandah) that was booked as a VGT to a 4A in room 8560 at the port for our 5 night Galveston to San Juan cruise on the wonder in January of 2019. Our upgrade price was $660 and it’s per stateroom, not per person. The upgrade to a category V in concierge would have been $1700.
