Upgrading UCT ticket to Power Pass AP- how much?

I bought tickets from undercover tourist back before the last price increase and got 3 day park-to-park tickets for 200 a piece. If I decide to upgrade one of them to a power pass to get the on-site hotel discount, can anyone tell me what I will pay at the gate to upgrade? It looks like online the price is 276 with tax for the power pass, so will it be 76 bucks to upgrade or will they charge based on the current gate price of the park to park ticket?

I'm probably making this more complicated than it needs to be lol. We are going in November and I'm waiting to see what the AP rates for the rooms are before I decide, but I won't know if it's a good deal or not if I don't know what I will have to pay for the upgrade. Also want to verify that I will be able to book the AP rate when it comes out, but won't have to upgrade my ticket until we get there correct? We won't be going to the park til the morning after check-in so I need to make sure I don't need it AT check-in. TIA!

Use the tickets once to enter the park.

That will bring the cost of them up to present ticket price

Then go to guess service to upgrade to the power pass

You do not need to show the AP at check in. You can do it after you have upgraded to the power pass.

I knew about that at Disney but had no idea it worked at Universal too, thank you! Do you know if I will get the current online price after using the ticket once or the gate price? I'm still not clear on how much the upgrade is going to cost......

I saw someone on here a while ago said they paid $10 (probably plus tax), which is the Power price ($259.99) over the gate price ($249.99) for the 3 day park-to-park. I am planning to do the same in September, so I can let you know then how it went for me.

Wow that would be really awesome! I only paid $200 because I bought them before the price increase happened and I bought a 2 day park-to-park ticket with one day free. But when I look at the ticket, it just says it is a 3 day ticket + park to park, it doesn't say anything about a day being free so I was wondering if I would get the 2 day price or 3 day price. I would very much appreciate it if you come back after your trip and let me know how your upgrade goes!
