Upgrading to DVC Annual Pass

HI Everyone! I was hoping to get some more information about the DVC Annual Pass.

My family has purchased 5 day tickets to get the free dining promotion this fall. Before the end of the trip, I want to upgrade these to DVC Annual passes. Has anyone done this before? Was it easy to do? Do I have to do this at a park? Is the upgrade price as simple as the total value of the original ticket subtracted from the DVC discounted annual pass?

So you are a DVC member who booked a free dining package?

When you go to upgrade you will need your member card and ID. Since your park tickets are part of your package I'm assuming they have to separated from your KTTW first. Guest Services at one of the parks or DTD should be able to help you. Follow the above link.. that ticket sticky says it all

You must be staying on cash or a different resort to get free dining, but to answer your question about upgrading. We did it last September. We upgraded our park tickets at Magic Kingdom Guest Services on the last day of our trip. It was pretty simple.
