Upgrading to AP ??

I will be going in Aug. for FD and have a 7 day WP & PH ticket included with the package. I would like to upgrade to AP as we would like to go once in Dec or Jan & then next summer so I think it would be good invest. What is the best way to do to maximize the value? Do I use a day or two then upgrade or upgrade immediately? TIA

That is what I was advised. This way when you upgrade you get the value of the 7-day ticket at the current gate price instead of the price you originally paid.

Just keep in mind that the AP begin date starts one the first day you used your 7-day ticket, not the day you upgrade to an AP.
