Upgrading to AP using previously purchased tickets

I have two trips planned to WDW so far in 2019. One in Feb is a package purchased direct through Disney with a 3 day ticket. The other trip is in May using DVC points rented from David's and the 4 day + extra day free park tickets (total of 5 days) purchased from Undercover Tourist. It seems most cost efficient for me to upgrade to an AP because I'll actually save money once I factor in Memory Maker.

What's the best way to do this with the two different sets of tickets I already purchased? I know the tickets I bought from UT can be bridged but should i wait to get the AP when I get there in May or can I upgrade in Feb using both sets of tickets? And if I wait until May, should I hold off on purchasing Memory Maker because I'll have it once the AP kicks in or will they credit it if I purchase in advance?

Have you posted the UT ticket on MDE? If not, don't do it yet. You can only use 1 ticket to upgrade to 1 AP. If UT ticket not listed on your MDE, then you can get a refund, less fee from UT. Once it is listed on MDE, no refund from UT.

I would change the Feb package to a room only, then use the UT tickets to convert to AP on arrival in Feb. The UT tickets aren't tied to the May trip anyway since they are stand alone tickets.

I did the email tickets so I can't get a refund from UT. Plus I save more money using the tickets from them because they trade in for the higher price that Disney sells them for. I think I'll have to adjust my Feb trip to be room only like the other poster suggested.
