I apologize in advance for asking a question that has been asked numerous times. However, I have searched and haven't found a really clear answer. I plan on buying my ticket from Undercover Tourist soon and would like to upgrade it to an annual pass and get Tables in Wonderland also. I would like to know which ticket would be my biggest savings. My math skills are on vacation right now. Could someone please tell me which ticket would be best and how much I would have to pay when upgrading. Thank you in advance.

When I did this in March, the best discount was on the 6 day PH, WP&M with NE. The savings were around $65. When you go to UT website, choose the ticket that says it saves the most of the gate price, as long as it isn't more than an AP.

Thank you. If my math is right, then the difference I would have to pay would be about 25 dollars?

Trying to wrap my head around this but the light bulb isn't clicking on just yet... Can you throw out exact prices that were used in your scenerio? ( ex. 6 day park hopper and water park option costs $$ at UT. Then, upgraded to "blank type" of annual pass for $$$ more. If I first purchased annual pass at WDW, my price would of been $$$). Also, did you choose the water park option from UT that included in your annual pass choice not just the annual pass that is for the 4 main parks? Thank you. Hope this is clearer than mud. :) Thank you!!

I don't remember exactly what I paid for the UT ticket because it was before the price increase but I think it was around $576. When we arrived, we used the ticket one time at Epcot (this is important to insure you can price bridge). We did not want a premiere AP (with water parks etc) so we made sure NOT to use the WP&M option. If you do use that option, you can then only upgrade to a premier AP or higher. When we went to guest relations, the first 2 CMs gave me an incorrect price so we left without upgrading. At the 3rd location (outside front gate of Epcot) the CM correctly quoted the ticket to be valued at the current gate price of $649.65. A standard AP costs $675.21, so I paid the difference of $25.56. So, we paid right around $601 for an AP that would have cost $675.

Just to clarify jimandami's response, the AP with the waterparks is called the Premium, not Premier. Premier is a pass that allows access to both WDW and DL in California.

Whoops! Thanks for the correction.

Is GR still upgrading tickets? I thought there was a recent thread that Disney wasn't going to do this anymore or not the way it was done historically? What are the details around this?

it was a false rumor.

Okay, here is my scenerio: can you let me know if this would be correct? I am going to add 2 days to the park pass. Not an annual pass but same concept.
Note: taxes are included in the below prices.
Park savers has a 5 day park hopper for $340. I purchase the ticket from Park Savers. Disney's price for 5 day park hopper is $388. I go to a park to start using the first day. Before I leave the park that day, I go the ticket booth to add 2 more days to my ticket. Disney's price for a 7 day PH is $409. I would only pay $21 to add these 2 days - correct?
Thanks again for all your help!

Yes, that is how it works.

My only caveat is that I've never heard of that Park Savers company and you would want to make sure that you are really saving $48 on the ticket. That sounds like a lot. Too much in fact. Make sure to add in any taxes, shipping, etc.

But with most of the authorized Disney resellers, you generally wouldn't save anything close to $48 from what I've ever seen, so just make sure that company is an authorized ticket reseller and maybe try and get some DIS feedback on them. I bought Undercover Tourist 6 day tickets a while ago and I think I only saved <$20 per ticket.

I heard about Parksavers from the touringplans.com blog. They noticed the great deal on the 5 day pass versus purchasing other lengths of stay. Thank you for your help!

I know with the annual pass parking is included. So if you use the ticket before the upgrade do they credit you the parking fee or no.
