Upgrading tickets before arrival

I purchased a 5 day base ticket from disney and after planning things out, I realize I want a 7 day hopper.

My trip isn't until October, but my parents are set to go to disney in a few weeks. Would I be able to give them my tickets to upgrade? Or does this 'activate' their 14 day window?

I want to be able to make all my fp+ at my 60 day mark instead of scrambling to make the two extra days while I'm down there.

If you purchased directly from Disney, call them. If the tickets are part of a package, they can simply change them for you.

As PP mentioned, you can adjust your reservation just about any way you want up to about 3 days before you arrive without being there. tickets is the one thing you need to change over the phone if I recall correctly. only annual passes need to be done at disney itself (upgrading to one)
