Upgrading Package Park Hoppers to APs

Hello All,
I would like to upgrade my 2 day park hoppers to APs before my trip in September. Anyone know how many days in advance I can do this?

You cannot upgrade "in advance." You can upgrade on site. Tickets must be activated in order to be upgraded. You can activate package tickets 10 days in advance of your stay.

That is strange, I was able to do this last year. Maybe because I already have AP's and want to renew them.

You can activate your tickets up to 10 days prior to the start of your package reservation.
